![]() ![]() on a side note rpg maker games seem to be the worst for steam confusing what is and isnt ment to be a soundtrack just by nature of how the games file structures are normaly at times and the files types it uses but that doesnt mean other games cant be mistaken as well.Īnd the fact that fo3 has it shown as a dlc and as a page of its own on store and in fact even lists the files/songs by name as they should apear in the downloaded area of the game files. and in any event its typicaly stored in a main folder in the root folder of the game labeled to be soundtrack (sometimes with or without the games title in it) and is typicaly in mp3 format unless stated otherwise again in the store page or in a text file and is in fact safe to delete move or whatever from where it downloaded without wrecking the game or otherwise its the asset version of the files and its not the true ment to be seen as offical soundtrack.Īt least those seem to be the guidlines i seem to notice when ever i look at the soundtracks of any games i download cuz i typicaly take a peek at the store location after each thing downloads. is a store page counted as dlc in steams eyes(sometimes still counted as a dlc of its own with no store page displayed. stated on the store page of the game that its auto included normaly with a example path to find it 2. and typicaly if a game comes with the offical soundtrack its one of a few things done: its 1. if it can read it then its gona try to add it. Just cuz steam can auto link files to the music tab dont mean its the true and true offical soundtrack in a soundtrack format for a game as it dont care if it even 10 diffrent audio files 1 second long across the whole games folder area. ![]()
